House-terglow, Season Finale

OH MY GOD. Best season finale ever in the history of the world. *squee*

As usual, many spoilers in the comments section, so don't read it if you don't wanna know how great that House!Cameron moment with the robot and the button and the air to the belly button was!

13 comments:

  1. Moriarty: That's alright, you don't have to say anything. Just let me soak into your subconscious.

You think that the only truth that matters is the truth that can be measured. Good intentions don't count, what's in your heart doesn't count. Caring doesn't count.

If a man's life can't be measured by how many tears are shed when he dies, it's because you can't measure them. It's because you don't want to measure them. It doesn't mean it's not real.

House: (to his writing) That does not make sense...

Moriarty: And even if I'm wrong, you're still miserable. Did you really think that your life's purpose was to sacrifice yourself and get nothing in return? No. You believe there is no purpose to anything, even the lives you save you dismiss.

You take the one decent thing in your life and you taint it, you strip it of all meaning.

    You're miserable for nothing.

I don't know why you'd want to live.

*swoon!thump* This has got to be one of the best written shows EVER. OMG.

  2. What do you think of the fact that in House's "dream" Cameron was the one sitting by his bed for 2 days watching over him? Not his best bud Wilson, not Cuddy (who takes on the role of traitor ala Stacy), but Cameron. Does this mean she is the one he trusts above all? Will his attitude toward her change after this, will he have seen that he does have feelings? Geez, I could go on forever.

And the whole (OMG) robot foreplay scene! That was freaking HOT! Especially that little puff of air to the belly...*swoon* I really really really really really hope they explore this more next season. I MUST KNOW!

And I REALLY want to know what was wrong with the tongue guy. Cause that was just gross.

  3. Heather!!! Love those quotes! Thank you so much. I MUST re-watch it again tonight. It absolutely is one of the best written shows EVER!

As for the potw, OMGGROSS! When his eye popped out we all SCREAMED! lol It was hilarious.

Love that Cam was the one watching over him. I definitely think that has something to do with him trusting her more. And the whole robot/foreplay thing was dealing with trust, so I do hope we get more of that next season. Him testing the waters, etc.

Did you notice at the very end, when he was losing consciousness, that he said, "Tell Cuddy I want blargblargblargh." The blargblargblargh being that drug that was mentioned in his leg! OMG! So I wonder if the leg thing does carry over to next season? Probably not, but it was an interesting carrot to dangle for us.

    LOVE it! Loveit!

  4. Should say "in regard to healing his leg."

  5. What is it about this show that makes me want to squeal like a little girl?!?!

I think I'm going to have to rewatch myself. I missed the eye popping out because Ellie was laying with me, still awake, and I could tell something bad was going to happen so I covered her eyes and mine were covered in the process. But ewww anyway!

I just loved the "inside" look into House's mind and seeing that he really does have doubts and fears and...well...feelings! He's human! He's really hard on himself too.

But I wonder, will he be changed like Foreman was post Euphoria, or, will he be even WORSE than he ever was because he didn't like what he learned about himself. I'm leaning worse.

  6. *THUD*

I didn't notice he said this earlier, this is off another site:

“If you want someone to hold you while you cry yourself to sleep at night… chose warm and soft. If you want someone to write you a poem, pick the sensitive loner. If you want to make sure something’s done right, pick the guy with the metal head.

    Daaaamn.

  7. Yes! The inside look into his doubts was great. And he is hard on himself, which is one thing I love about him. Nothing he does ever satisfies him really, he's always pushing, which really takes the edge off the bastard act, for me. Knowing that he's desperate to solve the puzzle and kicking himself in the ass the whole time.

I'm definitely thinking the change will be fore the worst...for a while. But I think we'll get a lot of those introspective moments when no one's looking. Where he goes soft and contemplative around the eyes and he backs off the asshole banter.

And LOL@the quote! I don't remember that either!

  9. What an absofrikin'lutely fantastic ending! NEVER saw the twist at the end where the entire show was a "dream" of his! And I was eating dinner during the eye-popping scene! GROSS! LOL

Can't wait for new season...must.be.patient. LOL

  11. Sole, no hot nurses but there's a hot head of the hospital and a hot doctor (Cameron) that I want House to hook up with. She's the one in that pic up top.

LOL, Vixen! We had just finished Chinese food. Ugg! It was absofrickinlutely wonderful. I watched part of it again this morning and can't wait til it comes out on DVD.

Non, you SO have to start watching. They're going to replay season 2 this summer, but I think you need to rent season 1 first.
