Montage-o-Rama

For Fun (and as Bookfool would say, "Click to enbiggen.")

First contact. Little Red and Midnight welcome alien Ace into the fold.

Playing in the candy corn field.

An edible flower arrangement. Eat 'em fast, before they shrivel.

The Everyday

Work. In fact, my office is on the second floor.

Makes me need to pee just looking at it.

Mmm, foliage! I just wanna roll around in it.

Keith Richards if he were a rugged-looking cardinal.

Taking to the clock...tower?

  1. Oh, yeah, I've gotta get an alien poppet!!! Love it!

I stole the word "enbiggen" from Kookiejar at A Fraternity of Dreamers. Call me "thief".

You've been having some fun with the camera, yes? Love everything - Keith Richards cardinal . . . you're so funny! The fruit basket is cool, if a little bizarre (doesn't the fruit, like, get dirty?). That purple foliage is so pretty. I have some of that, but I don't know what it's called, other than Plant That Can't Even Be Killed By Bookfool.

  4. LOVE the pic's. Although it makes you want to pee, the fountain pic is very artistic!

  6. I like the little poppets, hey seem bookish, with their non-existant noses up in the air. Perhaps your little bookish poppets would like to meet the alien buggers some time.

  9. Thanks, Nancy! And LOL re: dirty fruit. It came wrapped up in plastic, and after we got through nibbling all we wanted we de-sticked it, put it in a bowl and popped it in the fridge. No dirt. Thank God. It was DELICIOUS.

Chris, I love the poppets, too! Enjoy your orange! I wish I could collect all the colors, but I have to be selected. Teacher salary, you know. And enbiggen very well could be from The Simpsons. I don't watch it much, so I'll have to take your word for it. Now, Family Guy, that's my animated show of choice!

Matt, it was a great time picking fruit flowers. The chocolate covered strawberries were especially delicious.

Fem, the poppets would LOVE to meet the alien buggers! Found any more lately?

Thanks, Nat! I love that purple stuff. Must find some for my yard next year.

Thanks, Cold! Good weekendly wishes to you, too!

  13. Yes, I have a couple more of the alien buggers. I actually found one in the hallway on a legde, but it appears to be an allusive little buggar because when I went back for it, it was gone. However, I did find one outside and I took it home. It has taken up residency in my library. Hey, I have an idea. Perhaps the little alien buggar would like to take a vacation and visit your poppets and your library. If you like I can send it to you for a brief visit to get acquinted with your bookish looking poppets and visit all your literary establishments. Just E-mail me your mailing address. this might fun, kind of like the knome thing that travels around. Better yet, like mine and hubby's mascots Ken, Barbie, and Skipper traveling around the country in bathing suits in the corvet (remember our big New American Hobo quasi-Beat road trip in 2003). Anyway, it might be fun.
