Lights Out

Join in on Earth Hour:

On Saturday, March 29, 2008, Earth Hour invites people around the world to turn off their lights for one hour – from 8:00pm to 9:00pm in their local time zone. On this day, cities around the world, including Copenhagen, Chicago, Melbourne, Dubai, and Tel Aviv, will hold events to acknowledge their commitment to energy conservation.

Read more about it at Google.com's Earth Hour page.

  2. I was working, and wasn't home, but I'm pretty sure that my kids and my stepdaughter's sleepover friend didn't shut out the light when they watched the movie I'd left for them, "Uncle Buck."

  3. I did it! I had a very pleasant hour reading "Twilight" (again) by candlelight...until I realized that wax had spilled all over the top of my new trunk. Lol.
