Estella's Revenge Linkapalooza, Vol. 1

With the beginning of the academic term in full swing, and with a slightly underactive brain this morning, I'm really surprised I had such a GOOD IDEA! Y'all might remember that Heather, Melissa, and I used to edit a monthly (or quarterly) e-zine of bloggy items called Estella's Revenge E-Zine: posts, features, reviews. Some of the items were original content, and some were re-printed from first runs on other blogs. I liked to think of it as a blog "collective."

The whole point was to shine a light on bloggers. What I've brought you today is my first Estella's Revenge "Linkapalooza" post paying homage to the e-zine days.  Lots of bloggers share linky roundups, but I chose to only share links from my fellow bloggers, not media outlets or other collective publications. This is meant to spread the word about great posts and great reviews, and it's also somewhat selfish because it's a good way for me to keep up with posts I'd like to revisit.

On Fridays I'll be posting Linkapaloozas, many of them more far-reaching than this one. Already this week I've read multiple posts and some specific reviews that I now CANNOT FIND in my Google reader, and I hope this little problem is a thing of the past with this Friday feature.Today's links are courtesy of a quick romp through my Google Reader. I promise I'll research further and wider from now on...

And maybe I'll start one of these Paper.li things. Today, I just don't have the gumption.

  8. Loving the linkiness! I am also stoked that you chose my review to highlight, that's so awesome! I got a chance to see the Goodnight Ipad book when I was at SIBA, and have to say that I thought it was really cute. Need to go off and check out all these links now! Great round-up today, Andi!

  9. I didn't know there was a group of iPhone converts out there but I certainly belong to it as well. I went from Apple hater to iPhone fetishist within a day.
