Bullets, bullets everywhere...

Arrgh!

What a week. Stresses here, stresses there. The bulleted version:

  • A large sum was taken out of my checking account by a business without my consent. NOT COOL.
  • A deadline for a new unit in my online class snuck up on me. Scramble!
  • Finally got Greyson's crib moved into the house and it WON'T FIT THROUGH HIS BEDROOM DOOR. So he's been sleeping in his crib in the office! Hopefully getting this issue fixed tonight.
  • My high speed Internet died for the second time yesterday, though it was very luckily an easy fix.
  • Still no TV -- long remote-control-related story.
  • Greyson's ear tube surgery and adenoid removal are tomorrow. Dreading this. A lot.
So as you can see, a busy, anxiety-laden week. Luckily, I'm buddy reading The Secret Garden with Heather and it's a good book to relax with.

See y'all on the flip side of the surgery! Send those virtual hugs our way.

  1. The Secret Garden is definitely a good choice for a frantic week. Hope the ear tube surgery goes well. Scary about the money removal. Sending hugs and strength!

    1. Thanks, Wendy! All went well, I'm glad to report. He's acting like nothing ever happened. He'll pick at his ears occasionally but his pain meds seem to be working with no problems. Glad this week is over!

    1. Thanks, Allie! Today is shaping up to be very relaxing. Just taking it easy around the house. Laundry, dishes, a little more house cleaning and reading later.

    1. Thanks, Patti! I think it's going to make a remarkable difference for G. They told me yesterday that they don't think his ear infections have ever cleared up between antibiotics. Amazing to me that he's been as happy as he usually is while always feeling at least a little bad. :(

  12. I think we can all relate to these downpours. I have had nearly all of those things happen to me, including the chunky withdrawal from an unauthorized company, the crib vs. door, and the adenoid/ear tube kid. I know that it can be unnerving, but if little Greyson is anything like our Katie was, it will be a quick fix for an ongoing problem Best of luck.
Buddy reads are always fun. That should be a little stress relief.

  13. Hope everything went well with Greyson's surgery! What a week you had - you needed an easy week after the big move, not one like this.
