Readathon On the Horizon!

Y'all, if you follow me on Twitter, you know this was one of the most challenging weeks I've. ever. had. Seriously stinky. But you know what? There's a readathon this weekend, and we are ready!

Actually, we're not totally ready. We're still working out little fingers to the bone, but we're close!

Book possibilities:
  • Two of the Penguin foooood books (little ones on top)
  • Parnassus on Wheels
  • Ethan Frome
  • The President's Hat
  • Away
  • This is How You Lose Her
  • Giovanni's Room
  • Belzhar
  • Y: The Last Man (Deluxe!)
  • Encyclopedia of Early Earth
Not pictured: the second and third volumes of Bone and about eight gazillion digital comics.

On the actual, foodie menu:
  • Waffles with Biscoff (cookie butter)
  • Spicy Nacho Doritos
  • A melty, yummy Chicken Cordon Bleu casserole
  • Bits and bobs: popcorn, veggies, dips, chocolate, COFFEE
What do you have up your sleeve for this Readathon? Now, I'm going to bed! See you on THE DAY! Just us...and 1,500 of our closest reader friends.

For real. 1,500.

  3. Enjoy your reading weekend! I feel like there are a few people reading Belzhar these days...making me want to read it now that I'm 2 for 2 on Wolitzer. I'd shied away b/c I don't generally love YA, but might let that slide for Wolitzer!

    1. Thank you, Sarah! I'm usually not much of a YA reader myself, but I'm giving Wolitzer the benefit of the doubt.

  6. 1,500 readers. That is just amazing. Awesome. And put me down to help Heather and you for the fall one. That is a ridiculous number of readers for two people to manage.

Um, that cordon bleu casserole? Yeah, that's going on next week's menu. It looks so yummy!
